We are always looking for new members of our Youth Advisory Committee! You don’t have to be a member or Young Carer either, just reliable and sympathetic to the cause. So if you are in grades 9-12, looking for ways to help out in your community, or looking for high school volunteer hours then give us a call to inquire! Our January meetings will be:
Niagara – Tuesday the 19th from 4:00-6:00pm
Haldimand – Friday the 25th from 5:30-7:30pm
To celebrate the New Year we will be having a Fancy Pants Brunch at the Powerhouse Project Office in St.Catharines. Come dressed in your fanciest clothing on Friday January 4th from 11:00am – 2:00pm to start the new year in style! Be sure to call and sign-up ASAP
This event is for the whole family and is on Friday November 7th from 7:00pm – 8:30pm located at the Rink at the Brink in Niagara Falls. Skate rentals and entrance is included, be sure to sign up soon so we know how many families to expect!
Friday November 16th is a PD Day so come join us in St.Catharines to make some brunch together and watch a movie! This event is from 10:00am – 1:30pm and is for all ages, don’t forget to wear your Pajamas 
To celebrate this scary season Powerhouse Project will be heading to the Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm at 7705 Schisler Road Niagara Falls to check out their Haunted Hayride! The event runs from 7:00 – 8:30pm on Friday October 19th and is for ages 13 and up, make to sure to call and register as there are limited spots available…
Carers Night Out (CNO) is a fun ‘Youth Group’ style program filled with different kinds of activities, games, crafts, sports and cooking. If you are a young caregiver between the ages of 7-16 and looking to have some fun while meeting new friends just like you then make sure to come out each week to the CNO closest to you!

Powerhouse Project is going bowling at the Bowl-O-Rama in Welland on Saturday September 15th from 11:00am – 1:00pm. Whether you have never bowled before or are an expert at ‘Striking Turkeys’ this event is for you! Lunch will be included and of course as usual is free to all PHP members… Be sure to call and register as spots are limited!

Powerhouse Project is heading into the woods on August 30th from 11:00am – 2:00pm at Rockway Conservation Area (Meeting at the Rockway Community Centre located off Pelham Road 5 mins past Effingham Road). Here we will see some of Mother Natures amazing creations while having fun and playing games in one of the Niagara Regions most impressive geographical area’s!
On Thursday August 9th from 10:00am – 3:00pm Powerhouse Project will be deep in the jungles at Safari Niagara checking out the wild animals and attractions. If you are interested in attending make sure you call Nicole/Jordan to register as spots are limited!
